Winter Park Resort Description
Winter Park Resort is an alpine ski resort in Winter Park, Colorado in the Rocky Mountains. Located just off U.S. Highway 40, the resort is about an hour and a half's drive from Denver. It's the third largest in Colorado and known as "Colorado's Favourite". With its uncrowded slopes, 300 days of sunshine per year & record snowfall, it's not a resort to be missed. Winter Park has five distinct mountains: Winter Park, Mary Jane, Parsenn Bowl, Vasquez Cirque and Vasquez Ridge offering skiing and snowboarding for all abilities.
The village is comprised of roughly a dozen buildings containing retail shops, restaurants, and lodging properties. It is modest in size but has enough to keep most people occupied for the entirety of their stay.
