Silver Star Ski Resort Guide & Piste Map
Silver Star Resort Description
Possibly the most under-rated mountain in Canada, Silver Star has a colourful ski-in/ski-out village and a ski hill that offers so much but never seems to get busy. If you are after champagne powder and no crowds, then this is the place.
On piste - The two sides of the mountain have extremely different characters. Silver Star is renowned for the back side of its mountain. Here you will find a mass of black and double black runs, some of the best moguls and challenging terrain to be found anywhere, certainly not what you would expect from such a small mountain.
The new Alpine Meadows quad will whisk you to the Attridge Peak to access perfect powder lines down both the west and south sides. But don't ignore the front side, which skis into the village. This has some wonderful long, wide groomed runs for the beginners and intermediates; there is snowcross, good terrain park and halfpipe, and it regularly hosts events and even night skiing on some evenings.
