Leysin Resort Description
Leysin is a municipality of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland, located in the district of Aigle.
The Leysin ski fields with their 60km of pistes are suitable for all categories of skier and are especially popular with youngsters and families. At altitudes varying from 1300 to 2200m and with snow guaranteed by the permanent snow canons, Leysin is quite often host to important sporting events.
It is a large resort with 14 lifts that offers skiers an incredible 1050 metres (3445 feet) of vertical descent and has 29 pistes.
Moreover, Leysin offers a unique attraction: the Tobogganing Park. It offers 4 to 8 tracks with sharp bends, on which visitors shoot down on snow tubes.
