Klosters Resort Description
Klosters is a municipality in the district of Prättigau/Davos in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. With its romantic village-like atmosphere, it stands in stark contrast to the nearby Alpine metropolis of Davos.
It offers a unique combination of a renowned mountain resort the British heir to the throne Prince Charles is a regular guest and the idyll of an unspoilt Graubünden village. The diverse range of activities on offer in summer and winter is well suited to families with children.
It is a large resort with 33 lifts (10 gondolas, 5 chairs, 18 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible 1600 metres (5249 feet) of vertical descent. Klosters has 420 acres of terrain over 97 pistes with a total length of 315 kilometers (197 miles). It is best suited for intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is a also a lot of terrain for beginners and experts too.
