Grindelwald Ski Resort Guide & Piste Map
Grindelwald Resort Description
Grindelwald is a municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. Grindelwald is surrounded by the spectacular mountain trio "Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau" and the small town looks back on a long standing tradition in tourism. The Eiger village of Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland lies embedded in a welcoming and green hollow, surrounded by a commanding mountainscape with the Eiger north face and the Wetterhorn. This mountainscape and the numerous lookout points and activities make Grindelwald one of the most popular and cosmopolitan holiday and excursion destinations in Switzerland, and the largest ski area in the Jungfrau region.
Grindelwald, Switzerland provides extensive skiing and snowboarding to suit all abilities, with half pipe and snow park, and 20 km of dedicated tobogganing runs. It is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders with some terrain for beginners but little of interest for advanced skiers.
