Davos Resort Description
Davos is a municipality in the district of Prättigau/Davos in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. Davos is located on the Landwasser River, in the Swiss Alps, between the Plessur and Albula Range. At 1,560 m (5,120 ft), it is the highest city in Europe.
The ski area statistics are quite impressive: 5 mountains with more than 300 km of marked runs, 58 ski lifts, a lift capacity of 64,421 persons per hour, The Europe's longest ski run from the Weissfluhgipfel (9460') down to Kublis (2680') with a 6780' vertical drop and almost 8 miles in length.
