This beautiful setting, a 1 hour drive from Las Vegas , has been described as 'Yosemite with a ski area in the middle'. The high number of blue sky days are a delight but take plenty of sun cream! The resort lies at an elevation of 8,500ft and snowmaking covers 50% of the runs, should mother nature ever fail. There's an excellent ski school run by Swiss expert Marcel Barel, helping skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities. 'Skiwee' is a special programme for kids. Daily 9am - 4pm, Half Day starts 1pm but Night varies with season with a skiable Area of 40 acres (16 hectares).
