Bardonecchia Resort Description Bardonecchia... one of my favourite Italian ski resorts. I have had such fun here several times. One of the biggest memories is not about the skiing but the Italians coming out in their droves in their finery and fur coats to parade up and down the very fine high street at about 5 pm. Here I was as a young lad in my ripped ski pants and odd ski gloves! Whilst we are on the high street the shopping in Bardonnechia is amazing ladies even I got into it (hide your credit card) Bardonecchia has some amazing shops. So when you do get on the slopes you have two ski areas to choose from with mainly intermediate skiing but plenty of it and some really cool bars on the slopes. Bardonnechia is only about 90 mins from Turin which is ideal for a short ski break. Value for money here and quite a classy resort.
