Fulpmes represents one of the smaller ski resorts in Austria, situated at 1000 m above sea level with population of 3600 inhabitants. The other major villages in the region are Neustift, set at altitude of 1000 m with 4000 inhabitants and Telfes im Stubai - 1007m above sea level and 1300 inhabitants. The pretty Tirolean village of Fulpmes is situated just off the Brenner Pass in the famous Stubai Valley, one of the most scenic locations in Tirol. There are 4 main ski areas within the valley, including the mighty Stubai Glacier accessed by ski bus and cable car giving you guaranteed snow.With a total of 130kms of piste, much of it at high altitude/glacier, this is a great area for all levels of skier and boarder. The resort boasts a superb ski school and childcare facilities, making it a perfect choice for families too.
