St Jean Resort Description

Snow Range:
1100-2620m

Village Heights
1,550m (5,085ft)

Highest Lift
2,620m (8,595ft)

Both parts of Gressoney, Trinite and St Jean, have access to the Monterosa Ski area. St Jean is a short drive away from the lifts, while you can ski to your door at Trinite. St Jean is the prettier and larger of the two, but Trinite has been described as 'a pleasant, friendly little resort with a lot of character', while the 'surrounding area is lovely, with great scenery and picturesque villages'.

St Jean also has more restaurants, shops and accommodation. Both are good value.

Apres Ski:

Excellent value for money with a wide choice, 3-course dinner from around €22, pizza/pasta dishes from €6, fondue from €12:
St. Jean: La Casa Di Giorgio for pizzas and grills, L'Oule Rouge for traditional cuisine and Le Skwal for seafood specialities.
Both resorts have informal, low-key but good value nightlife.
St. Jean: La Grenouillere - a popular apres ski venue or the Irish Pub for a good atmosphere

Activities:

Snow shoe walks
Husky dog sleigh rides
Paragliding
Entertainment programme
Cheese dairy with guided tours and tasting (St. Jean)
