Valmeinier Resort Description Snow Range: 1430-2594m Village Heights 1,800m (5,950ft) Highest Lift 2,594m (8,510ft) Set amongst the spectacular scenery of the Maurienne Valley, Valloire and Valmeinier represent excellent value for money with a friendly, French atmosphere. Valloire, built around a seventeenth century Baroque style church, is a family orientated resort with an authentic traditional French village feel. The smaller purpose built resort of Valmeinier, offers spectacular views over the surrounding mountains. The two resorts are linked to provide an excellent ski area at the foot of the Galibier Pass. Valmeinier Apres Ski: An informal atmosphere with reasonably priced restaurants and bars. No Comment for its live music or the lively Le Dannebrog bar. Carry on into the night at the Brasilia nightclub.
