Set amongst the spectacular scenery of the Maurienne Valley, Valloire and Valmeinier represent excellent value for money with a friendly, French atmosphere. Valloire, built around a seventeenth century Baroque style church, is a family orientated resort with an authentic traditional French village feel. The smaller purpose built resort of Valmeinier, offers spectacular views over the surrounding mountains. The two resorts are linked to provide an excellent ski area at the foot of the Galibier Pass.
Valloire Apres Ski: An informal atmosphere with reasonably priced restaurants and bars.
The Club Bar L'Igloo for its intimate atmosphere or the lively and popular Bar Centrale. Dance the night away at the L'Odysee nightclub or the Village Discotheque.
A good selection of restaurants representing excellent value for money, 3-course dinner from around 24E, pizza/pasta dishes from 7E, fondue from 12E:

Situées au milieu de la Vallée de la Maurienne, les stations de Valloire et de Valmeinier représentent un excellent rapport qualité-prix avec une atmosphère française très conviviale.
Valloire, construite autour de son église baroque du dix-septième siècle, est une station familiale. Quant à la petite station de Valmeinier, elle offre des vues spectaculaires sur les montagnes qui l’entourent.
Les deux stations sont reliées entre elles afin de fournir un excellent espace de ski au pied du Col du Galibier.
Vous trouverez à Valloire une atmosphère conviviale avec des prix raisonnables et un bon rapport qualité-prix dans les bars et restaurants. Le bar L’Igloo vous offrira une atmosphère intime. Le Bar Central quant à lui est plus populaire. Vous pourrez ensuite danser toute la nuit à L’Odyssée.
D’autres activités peuvent être également pratiquées, notamment pour les non-skieurs : bowling, cinéma, centre de fitness avec Jacuzzi et sauna, parapente, patinage sur glace...
