St. Moritz is one of the world’s most famous holiday resorts. It is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. Moreover, the highly modern ski lifts ensure a minimum of waiting time and a maximum of efficiency in a region that is renowned for its variety. Carving paradises, freeride slopes, spacious nursery slopes and a glacier downhill run lure snow sport aficionados in every direction.
There is a rich diversity in après ski options in St Moritz, catering for the wide variety in ages and wealth of the resort's visitors. An early evening stop for everyone regardless however is Hanselmann's, the century old purveyor of fabulous cakes and ice cream.
