Isola 2000 Resort Description Isola 2000 proposes more than 120 km of wonderful slopes. It is located in the heart of the Southern Alps, near the Italian border and it is just an hour and a half from Nice Airport. Both sunshine and snowfall are guaranteed by the resort due to its high altitude. This resort has great skiing for all abilities. The terrain is varied and is especially good for beginners and intermediates. But experts could be satisfied with good off-piste and challenging runs as well. For non-skiers, the Pelevos gondola enables you to go up to 2320m. You can enjoy there a panoramic view over the resort. Moreover, Isola 2000 has a convenient complex of shops, bars and restaurants in order to relax at the end of a hard day’s activity. For après-ski, there are a lot of options: sleigh rides, snowmobiling, tobogganing, ice driving…There is also an indoor pool, a sauna… located in the old village, just twenty minutes drive from the resort.
