Gstaad Resort Description

Gstaad Saanenland is located in the south-west of Switzerland, right on the border with the French-speaking part of Switzerland, it sits between four valleys, each lined with ski centres. Ten chalet villages make up the Gstaad holiday region. Gstaad is known for its luxury hotels and shopping, excellent service, and international stars, as well as being one of the largest ski areas in Europe.
In winter, 220km of pistes at altitudes of up to 3000 metres above sea level await skiers and snowboard riders. Several snowparks and numerous toboggan runs as well as 165km of trails for classic- and skating-style cross-country skiing are at the disposal of visitors.
