Aprica Resort Description Aprica is situated in Valtellina, the most northerly of Lombardy's provinces. It lies on the mountain pass of Aprica, a splendid natural plateau between imposing mountain ranges. The ski area Aprica-Corteno, placed on the south side, has over 50 km of pistes. The pistes are divided into 7 blue, 10 red and 5 black and 6 links. Aprica, is a large resort with 20 lifts that offers skiers an incredible 1070 metres of vertical descent. Progression here is easy and soon beginners will be able to tackle the long blue runs down from the higher slopes at 1,700m, and it offers skiing for all grades, from nursery slopes to challenging black runs. In Aprica you have the chance that the ski areas descend to the houses. The city is alive throughout the year with indoor and outdoor activities, as well as community events. Aprica is a well-established and friendly resort, with plenty to see and do.
