This Chalet is a privately owned detached chalet situated in the heart of the mountains beside Lake Montriond, an area of internationally renowned and protected beauty. With large panoramic windows, there are wonderful views of the lake and mountains from every window. An old craftsmans workshop, it has been lovingly and sympathetically renovated to provide extremely comfortable accommodation whilst retaining the quintessential alpine log cabin feel.
The Chalet is in an excellent position for skiing as it is only 5 mins drive from the Ardent lift which gives you the fastest possible access to the vast Avoriaz and Chatel ski areas at the heart of the Portes de Soleil. The Pleney lift is 7 mins drive from the chalet for accessing the Morzine and Les Gets sectors. The ski bus stops outside the chalet every half hour for either location or there is free parking available at the lifts.
The living space is over 100m2, with parking to the side and a sun-terrace in front of the chalet. A large open plan split level sitting room with rustic wooden beams, deep sofas and a cosy wood-burning stove. The chalet has been newly decorated in Spring 2008 to cater for all modern comforts whilst the antique skis, cartwheels, dried flowers and carved wooden fretwork retain a rustic alpine charm.
