This Chalet is a tastefully restored early 19th century farmhouse which retains many of its original features giving it an undeniable charm. If you're looking for something different, special, spacious and luxurious then look no further. La Cortiena has heaps of character and rustic charm and is so homely that you won't want to leave! This luxury boutique style chalet has 5 stylish bedrooms, 2 double en-suites, 2 double/twin en-suites and a twin bedroom under the eaves for children. Each room is named after a local liqueur – Genepi, Marc, Arquebuse, Sapin and Petit Sapin. The rooms are all equipped with goose down pillows and duvets, Egyptian cotton linen, towels, bathrobes, slippers and hairdryers. On the ground floor there is a large two-tiered lounge and dining area which acts as the focal point of the chalet. With its log burning stove and sofas it offers a comfortable retreat where you can enjoy a truly relaxing evening either listening to music on the iPod, reading or reliving the days exploits. Bedrooms Marc and Genepi are accessed from this level via a separate corridor. For those of you who wish, we have Wi-fi connection or you can watch TV in the separate home cinema room which houses a large wall-mounted TV screen, satellite TV & DVD player. Access to the outdoor Jacuzzi is from this floor where you can ease those well earned aches and pains. There is also a boot room ensuring your equipment is dry and warm each morning. Our remaining 3 bedrooms Arquebuse, Sapin and Petit Sapin are located on the first floor along with a small mezzanine lounge for those of you who like a little solitude. The Chalet has plenty of off road parking for those who choose to drive. A weeks stay with us in this Chalet will include.
