Description New to us this year Attractive chalet, reputedly the highest chalet in Europe! Ski in and out via unpisted track Use of shared swimming pool and sauna Lounge with open fireplace All bedrooms en suite with balcony Buffet breakfast with hot option and afternoon tea/coffee and cake 4 course dinners inc apéritif , choice of complimentary, quality wines, coffee and chocolates The Chalet is situated in a panoramic location high up at the top of the resort with sensational views over the village, valley and mountains. This individual, detached chalet is close to the resort centre and offers excellent ski access as well as very comfortable bedrooms, each with en suite facilities and its own balcony, and there are two rooms with additional bunks, ideal for families. A particularly attractive feature is the impressive lounge/dining room with its vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and picture windows affording stunning views of the surrounding mountains. In addition all guests have free use of the sauna and swimming pool in the neighbouring des Neiges residence, which is open from 1600-2000 every day except Saturday. Competent skiers can take a short unpisted track which links to the piste and then ski down to the centre to a choice of lifts or gondolas leading to the main Val Thorens slopes. After a day on the slopes returning to the chalet is via the track leading off the Plein Sud run which brings you back to within a 100m of the building. For Val Thorens' lively night life a short stroll will bring you to all the action and fun.
