Description Built in 2009, this stunning property is located on the edge of a pine forest in the exclusive village of Le Fornet, in Val d’Isère. Sleeping up to 18 people, the chalet can be split to cater for groups of twelve and six. It is spread over four floors, provides a huge 350m2 of living space and is suitable for large groups and families alike. Sleeping a total of 14 people in seven double/twins, and a further four people in two oversized bunks and two large single sofa-beds. New for 2012 Glorious Hot Tub on the Deck The Chalet has been completely rebuilt in traditional Savoyard stone, using genuine old timbers combined with new exposed beams. It has fantastic open plan living and dining areas furnished with bespoke furniture to give a contemporary and warm feel. The chalet lends itself perfectly for groups who like to entertain or who enjoy a discrete and exclusive hideout. The bedrooms are spacious and individually designed and most feature large balconies or a terrace. We have filled the chalet with gadgets we would use, and home comforts you can’t do without. We have chosen fewer but more luxurious bathrooms and filled them with big fluffy towels and exclusive Cowshed toiletries so that you can completely relax at the end of the day. In briefing our designer we wanted to explore the "hip" factor and offer something a little different that you wouldn't find commonly in resort. It is a brand new chalet and has some interesting alpine accents but we wanted to balance that with the feeling of luxury ski trips from the halcyon days of the 60's and early 70's. The décor theme is 1960s mid-century modern inspired. Charlie Adam’s “Alp chic” art series is the color design muse. We have selected a number of pieces of bespoke furniture to give a feeling of old and new. Regarding the bedrooms, currently the plan is to have a different print in each of the bedrooms which will provide the colour accent, along with a complementary art piece such as a deer head silhouette for example. The rest of the design features in the bedrooms will be fairly neutral, but will have a 60s inspired design...our influence for this was The Standard hotel in NYC.
