This chalet is an historic 300 year old village house situated in the heart of the pretty village of Saint Jean d'Aulps, just outside Morzine in the Portes de Soleil. The chalet was completely renovated during 2008 to offer our guests the utmost in comfort whilst preserving the building's character and charm.
Our aim is to be as flexible as possible, offering a range of accommodation and catering options and organising as much or as little of your holiday as you desire. Both the magnificent Portes du Soleil ski domain and the unspoiled local Roc d'Enfer circuit are easily accessible from our chalet and with many other activities on offer nearby you will be spoilt for choice for ways to pass your time.
We operate a free shuttle service to and from your chosen ski area each day and the local ski bus (which runs between St Jean d'Aulps, Morzine, Montriond and Les Gets) stops right outside our front door. So getting out there and enjoying the mountains couldn't be easier.

Breakfast and dinner are served in our large, open-plan living area. After dinner our comfortable sofas are a great place to relax in front of a roaring fire with a drink from our honesty bar or a bottle of wine from our well-stocked cellar. Tea and coffee making facilities and free internet access are available throughout the day. A flat-screen TV and extensive DVD and MP3 library add a touch of modern convenience to our historic and traditional alpine home.
We offer a range of spacious double, twin and triple rooms, all of which have en-suite bathrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with luxury duvets and egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy towels, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries. Many of the rooms have spectacular mountain views.
The chalet has its own games room complete with pool table, dart board, tv/dvd area and playstation. A great place to relax after a day on the pistes. There is also plenty of room to store all of your kit securely in our heated ski & boot room.
Our garden and terrace area offer marvelous views over the surrounding mountains. New for 2010/11, enjoy a relaxing dip in our large outdoor hot-tub. Ample parking is available at the chalet for those of you who choose to drive.
Food & Drink
We are passionate about good quality food. We offer fresh, seasonal, local produce, traditional alpine dishes and specialities from around the world. We aim to be as flexible as possible, offering both half-board and bed & breakfast catering options.
Our continental style buffet breakfast is guaranteed to set you up for a hard day of skiing. We offer:
a range of breads and jams
croissants and pastries
cold meat and cheese platters
cereals and yoghurts
freshly brewed coffee, tea or hot chocolate
as sorted fruit juices
We also offer a Full English Breakfast for a small additional charge.
Packed lunches are available on request.
Included in the price of our half-board option is an afternoon tea, consisting of home baked cakes, biscuits or savoury snacks and a warming drink.
We offer an exciting and varied menu combining French classics with modern cuisine from Europe and around the world. Our menus are ever-changing to make best use of fresh, seasonal, local produce. Dinner consists of three courses, plus wine and soft drinks.
If you have any particular dietary needs, please let us know prior to arrival and we will be happy to offer alternative meals. We also cater for children of all ages - early meal times are possible on request.
Please note that an evening meal is only available at the house 6 nights per week. Saint Jean d'Aulps, Morzine and the surrounding villages offer a range of excellent restaurants for guests to choose from on the chef's night off.
