These chalets are among our exclusive 5 star fully catered properties. Included in the price for this Chalet are 3 professional chefs and 3 experienced chalet hosts serving up our gourmet half-board dining service in each chalet, an open bar in each chalet, daily cleaning and shopping service and unlimited wine. Our gourmet dining service includes breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes and dinner on six nights, accompanied by outstanding complimentary carefully selected wines, for more details please visit our catering page. The chalets are accessed through a tunnel and an elevator. The entrance to the tunnel is 200 metre from the end of the ski runs beneath the Matterhorn Express lift station, just a 4 minute walk from the church square. This is an ideal location being close to the main lift station, the ski runs and the village centre. The tunnel and elevator bring you up high above the village providing a true sense of high mountain seclusion and tranquility with breathtaking views. From the elevator exit there is a 200 metre walk to the chalet entrances. The chalets come with an electro transporter which our staff will use to move your luggage and shopping as required. Ski equipment is left in the ski room down in the tunnel.
The chalets are adjacent to each other enabling a group of up to 26 guests to stay in the same location while benefiting from the space and privacy that only sole-occupancy luxury chalets can provide.
This consists of our three unique and until now impossible adjacent Zermatt residences rented as one unit for exclusive use by a larger group. These three triplex self-standing chalets are located within 10 metres of each other making them a perfect retreat for a larger group of up to 26 guests (they offer a total of 13 double bedrooms) Each of these three chalets is a luxurious free standing three storey independent chalet with 4 bedrooms (in 2 Chalets) or 5 bedrooms (The other one).
Their location provides the best of both worlds: spectacular views and easy access. Side by side, tucked against a beautiful hillside, the numerous balconies and large terraces give you bird's eye views of the village and the surrounding mountains, encompassing all three of Zermatt's ski areas. Yet access is easy: 200m from the Matterhorn Express base lift station and resort run there is a street level tunnel which leads you to a lift (elevator) built inside the mountain, from the top of which there is a gentle 2 minute walk to the property. Skis and boots can be left in the tunnel's ski-room. Although it does not have a Matterhorn view, the chalets are bathed in sun as soon as it emerges. 2 of the chalets are mirror images of eachother sharing one structural wall, The other is self-standing just a few feet away.
Newly built this year, each chalet has been tastefully decorated under our supervision, delicately combining an Alpine, cosy and contemporary finish, with liberal use of wood and stone. It has all the latest technology with flat-screen TVs, more than a hundred satellite channels, rotating fireplaces and geothermal heating to reduce the chalet's carbon foot-print as much as possible.
The chalets each enjoy the use of their own unique private outdoor hot-tub surrounded by snow (in the winter) ' perfect to relax and enjoy the view (or the stars') after a long day in the mountains. In addition there is a sauna located in one chalet .
