Selva Resort Description Selva Val Gardena lies in the heart of the famous dolomites superski area, which is the largest ski network in the world. With its dramatic scenery, traditional Austrian style architecture (it was under Austrian rule for many years), but Italian charm it is bound to please. It is a long roadside village with traditional architecture and is famous for its woodcarvings. Selva almost merges with its neighbour St Cristina. The local scenery is dramatic and awe inspiring you’ll certainly spend lots of time admiring the wonderful views across the whole area. The area is good value and is probably one of the liveliest places to stay on the Sella Ronda circuit.
